For more than 300 years people from hundreds of countries have
poured themselves in USA. American English is a mixture of
Spanish, French, German Italian Greece Russian and so many others.
It is a melting pot of so many different
culture, race, religion and languages. They got inter-mixed
and a new language is born.
In USA, custom, tradition and style is different from British.methods.
Public Schools are nurseries of Hi How Wow Wow Wah Yep.Yep and all
Shouts of Joy, phrases, Slangs used in ordinary course of conversation in USA.


Children educated in private schools are found very sober and sophisticated.

However here there is no place for phrases like “Sir” and “Yours Faithfully”
That does not mean there is no respect for each other. There is practice to
call everyone by their first name. Hi Sam, Hi Barack,“Long time, no see”
“What’s up? How you doing? “Not so bad.” “How’s the Weather?” Like that.

Indian English is not understood here. There are phrases you have to learn.
Gas station, Mail-lady, photo copy, picture, phone call, pardon, etc.
Here US Customers do not follow, when Indian Call Centers call them.
The accents are deemed hard, phrases not used to their ears.
Here dictionary is limited to 100 words with which they communicate.
