INDIA-THE MOTHERLAND IS WEEPING.

Motherland IS WEEPING.

I am an Indian.  I am Indian bred.
I have seen much to hate here,
I have seen much to forgive here.
But in the world, where there is no INDIA, I do not wish to live.

All our laws are needed to be redrafted.
They have loopholes.  There are many ‘nothing shall apply’ and “provided that” in the law which are escape windows to go scot free.  The Judiciary thereby has been a helpless spectator to such faulty legislation and is helpless. The laws framed are like cob-webs where small flies get caught and big flies do break through unharmed and successful.

There are many parties.  Some believe in liberal economy.  Some advocate state ownership. The country’s economic policy, depend upon the outcome of the tug of war between these groups. Poverty has taken the toll of the nation.

From 1947 to this date 11 five year plans have cost us trillions of INR to the nation. What is the outcome?  We are still without basic infrastructure.  We have not been self-sufficient in resolving drinking water problem.  There is shortage of drinking water through out the country.  There is housing shortage, roads are inadequate and schools and medications and health schemes are beyond the reach of the common man. The widening gap between the rich and the poor is a key motivating element for terror strikes.  The western world is rich.  The African Asian nations are comparatively poor.
The Africans and the Asians look upon the western world as arrogant self-satisfying greedy and self centred.

The time bomb is ticking. We have to take notice of it. What is for a society where rich get richer and poor, poorer?  Failure to use resources, availability of funds but lying unspent, not fulfilling the targets, spending the funds in different heads, paying interest on world bank loans in terms of INR vs. US $.  The cost of production has gone high in every field.

Government spending has grown at a faster rate than the increase in the output.  The wages are increased followed by the increase in prices of commodities price index. Again the wages are increased to cope up the increasing prices.  This is a vicious cycle.  It has spiralled up inequality all around.

India is a sleeping giant.  Many countries in the world want the sleeping giant sleep. But now this is not so.  The sleeping giant has awoke and risen to its full height to take stock of the things.  The voice of the people is the last court of resort. The politicos shall have to answer the people.  The people are tired of false promises and false hopes..  The people feel that they were blind-folded by their smooth speech and were not aware of nefarious activity at their back.

The country was in sound slumber for the last 50 years.  We have to begin now.  It is a wake up call.  Our leaders are seen moving around the world with a begging bowl for help and subsidy.

The Government shall have to publish a list of help donation subsidy loan received in the country from foreign sources.  Details of expenditure incurred on the five year plans is the need of the day.

For chaos in the country, the political parties are responsible.  They have to be accounted for what they have done.  They have made a mess of the country.  Their trial and error method has cost the country a good deal.  Their deeds have put the country in the world list of corrupt nations.  For the last 62 years, 11 five year plans have been operative but there is no infrastructure, drinking water housing and barest minimum facility to its nation.  Roads, schools and medication facility needs much changes and improvement.

The MPs, the MLAs and Councillors have interfered in the day to day matters of administration.   The administration runs at the wish of these people.  They have corrupted the entire system. Nothing is left,.  They have covered everything.  The country is like a termite hit tree hollow from within and shall crash to earth with a slight storm.

The rich and the powerful can do anything and everything as they wished.  The law right from the investigation stage to the verdict stage has to  be flawless. It gets tainted by time it reaches the hands of the judge.  This can be done by strict supervision and scrutiny, process of monitoring.
The process is exploited, facts are mis-recorded,  misinterpreted twisted and turned by the mighty and the rich with reference to politics related people. They exploit the system to serve their selfish ends.  In many cases it is seen that the law does not touch the wealthy and the mighty. Their lawyers twist turn misread the provisions of law to serve their ends.  They escape from the clutches of law.
The law enforcement and law administration are two brothers who have to work in harmony and synthesis and are complimentary to each other instead of finding faults with each other.   Some lawyers mis-interpret the law in their favour.  They sell the law.
The Courts  turns into helpless spectator of being witness to such frauds of justice.  Faulty investigations, intimacy with the criminals, facilities to the criminals in jails are a routine matter.  In the Bombay jail, the criminal is attending a moojrah night at a reputed place.  In his place in the jail there is a dummy, duplicate fellow.  If there was a checking, everything would look in order as per the head-count.  They spend money like water. They get what they want.  This has to be stopped.
The above are a few isolated cases cited about the abuse of the process of the law.  The present arrangement is the only available workable and on the whole satisfactory system in existence.  With the coming of computers, it is hoped the method would still improve and not only justice will be done but  it will appear that justice is done.
