THE VETO. WHAT IS VETO?

 

 

VETO= (I Forbid).

It is a Political Right of World Five Big Powers

To disapprove any process of discussion,

Or action on an issue under discussion in the Security Council.

If any of the Five Big USA England France Russia or china

Exercise Veto no further action can be taken in Security Council.

VETO POWER OF THE SUPER FIVE.

The Security Council of the UNO is the main controlling body.  It has 15 members.  Five members are permanent members with Veto power.  If any one of the Five Powers Veto a resolution, no further discussion can be undertaken in the security council.  The other ten members rotate and retire every two years.

 

The number of countries who have not obeyed the resolution of the security council are mainly out of hundred,

Turkey Cyprus,

Armenia backed by USSR.

Israel for vacating Jerusalem..

Cosovo attacked without UNO authority.
