Sugar is sold at Rs.40. In Morarji’s time it was Re1.75 a kg. in 1978. The Agriculture Minister is the Sugar King. He is responsible for the rise in prices of agricultural commodities. Food items are the basics for a population of a billion. There is an all round increase of prices in all fields. Government raises their hands in helplessness. Then what for the government is if it can not address basic ill of the country?
