LEST WE FORGET THEM.










Lal,Bal and Pal.  The great Trio.

We remember the sacrifice of shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Lest we forget the sacrifice of Lal, Bal and Pal.

 l.Lala Lajpat Rai.
2.Bal Gangadhar Tilak.
3.Bipinchandra Pal.

LalBal and Pal are the great martyrs of the country after Bhagatsingh.
They advocated the Swadeshi movement.
On an average, one ship a day full of Indian opium, elephant tusks, skin of
Lion and tigers and antique items vintage wealth, icons idols were the main
Items of export  sent from India to England.
The English rulers in India  were engaged in sending all valuable items
of our country to England.

The ships after unloading Indian goods at London,  brought English fancy
goods for sale in India.  This consisted of cigarettes wine whiskey textile fabrics and
cosmetics articles.  The people had a craze for such items.

Lal Bal and Pal were the pioneers of boycott movement of English goods.
From 1905 they moved in the country to appeal to the people to boycott foreign goods.
They mobilized public opinion across the country to boycott English goods,
They advocated the use of Indian made goods.

They also mobilized public opinion again the partition of Bengal.
They were instrumental in giving voice to the independence movement.

When Ganghi ji returned from South Africa, in 1915, he was stunned and shocked
at a meeting for country’s independence at hanging garden, finding Zinnah and other
Leaders with whisky and champagne, and drunk,  interested in eating and relaxing.
Gokhle and Bal came to the rescue of the Mahatma by commenting that these so called freedom fighters were dead entity and that Mahatma should take a tour of the country to find his own way.  Gandhi ji on his tour to Champaranya and Kheda made history.

Lala Lajpat Rai(1865-1928). The Punjab Kesari was an orator author publisher of many publications which inspired the people to fight for the country’s cause.

Bipin Chandra Pal (1858-1932) A  teacher, orator and a journalist who opposed the
Partition of Bengal as a colonial policy of Lord Curzon to crack down on the growing
influence of the people against British Raj.


Bal Gangadhar Tilak.(1856-1920) “Swaraj is my Birth-right and I shall have it.”
An extremist and a hard line policy believer had many difference of opinion with
Gopal Krishna Gokhle but was very effective to lead people towards self-rule.
