LOSS AND DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY.

..

LOSS, DAMAGE to PUBLIC PROPERTY.

It has been now a daily routine.

Railways, Transport Buses, etc are utility services of the

common man of the country.  Anybody who attempts to damage,

destroy or in any way hamper the flow of public transport need to be dealt with severest punishment by the Fast Track Court.

Government needs to crash upon the Maoists and Naxalites who

have spread the atmosphere of lawlessness anarchy in the country.

Any damage to public transport should be declared the highest crime of the country.  There is no scope of sympathy towards them.  It appears the Government is aware of it but is soft towards these forces.

It is a crime to destroy public transport railway carriage, and running trains.

No day passes without a demonstration.

It may be a local union, a student organisation or any group

protesting something.

There is another group opposing the above demonstration

marching with flags, banners and shouting slogans to prove their point.

The public is made to perform the role of spectators. It is a routine.

Life goes on as normal is if such demonstrations were a part of life.

The Government deploys battalions of their police squads who are

present on the scene to watch and see that it does not turn violent.

Generally such demonstrations end peacefully.  In rare occasion it

explodes into bloody violence. BSF personnel, armed with machine guns take charge of the situation to control the violence.

Naxalites and Maoists have taken the country to rampage.

Armed forces have to be mobilised from one end to another through out the country.

Damage to the nation property runs into billions.

All this is a costly game.

The Government  spends for maintenance of law and order,

beyond their means.

Is progress possible in the above circumstances?

It is a god beginning that in Maharashtra the Shiv Sena was

made to pay for the damages caused to public property.
