Computers and Internet.

Computers are good servants but bad masters.

Computers and internet have so mixed in our life

that its existence is taken for granted.  It is always there. Just as we do not

notice the presence of telephone, light water, tea food and that their

existence is taken for granted.  We miss these essential items of life

when they are not there.  Computer and internet have become an integral

part of our life. We miss them when the internet connection is not there.

There are always complaints from the house, from family that

we spend too much of our time after computers.  The machine has

turned out to be a part of us without which one feels missing and lost.

It is true that computers make it easy for us to work all the time. We can

connect the internet and make business deals from the bed-room.

Computers can be used to avoid family intimacy. Some computer programs

allow the surfers to communicate with women on the screen.  There are

incidents of divorce when they engage in affair with someone they met

on the computer.  Computer makes it easier for us not to think.

There are positive benefits of the computer which outweighs some

malpractices at the hands of unscrupulous people.  We have to compromise

and live with the computer and the internet.. We can not avoid it.

We can restrict its use and should not be machine addicts for our own sake.

Computer and internet has revolutionized the life.

Computer and internet have to be used for getting knowledge which

was denied.  Knowledge sharing was a privilege of a selected few.

Now this is not so.
