Sleep.

SLEEP

“Labour after soil, and sleep after toil.”
“Sleep of the labouring man makes me boil.”
“God be blessed for bestowing sleep.”
“I slept and dreamt that life was beauty,”
“I woke and found that life was duty.”

Sleep does not come at the call of the kingdom
Nor will sleep come when you asked it to come,
Sure sleep shall come when you do not ask to come,
Sleep is a Queen, shall come, unannounced, yet welcome,

But to the labouring, hard working, sleep comes without said
Sleep shall spring up unannounced, waiting like a maid,
That is the glory and story of sleep as my teacher said.
