Take for instance the case of Abdul Wahab Shaikh,
right-hand man of Don Latiff. Wahab was released after spending
14 years in jail. He was permitted by Court to leave the country for
Hajj pilgrimage. He obtained passport, visa for Jeddah for hajj pilgrimage.

What was the idea behind stopping him ? and all the police-watch at Air Port ?
Despite all watch, he slipped and became a hero for fooling the police.

The recent live-cast of police lodging at the Gateway of India,
deployed to guard the Taj hotel is another such instance.

It appears the leaders are scared of police and police powers.
Every leader has curbed police powers. Police powers have been
curbed to such an extent that Police looks like Tom and Jerry cartoons.
