The President rules the country.
The PM governs the country.
The Civil Service administers the country.
A coterie of civil service official forms the
PMOs office, and the secretariat run the
administration of the country. It is therefore
necessary that gem of the country’s intelligentsia
may be selected by the UPSC.

Before appointment to such posts, there should be
thorough scrutiny of antecedents. Integrity, merits
have to be considered and evaluated for such posts.
Transparency in selection is a must.

The impact of the deeds/misdeeds of such civil
servants affect the interest of a billion people.

“May the pen of the civil servants may not ruin
what the country attained with great exertions.”

They have to be true spokesmen of the policy of
the Government.
