Punctuality.
We should respect other’s Time of the Day as also ours, too.
Time and Tide wait for none.
How does it make you feel when someone is late for an appointment?
Once, twice, thrice? What would you do if he is late all the time?
There is always a limit to one’s tolerance. Late Latifs upset the schedule.
Decency forbids us to call a spade a spade; but one does hate him.
They are neglected in the long run as habitual late comers. Their lateness is
taken for granted as a routine. They lose their importance, as regular customers.
Now communication facility has enabled us to inform the party about our
not reaching in time for a scheduled appointment. Curtsey demands that
such incidents should be an exception once in blue moon and not a regular habit.
Why are some people always late? They start late, arrive late, and finish late.
They feel that every one has time enough around for them, that they can wait.
People who are not punctual generally suffer from narcissism, entitlement,
or control. The narcissism men actually believe they are more important
than others. They expect people should wait for them with no grievance.
They have a need to be in control all the time, and at the same time they do not
expect anyone to control their time. It is seen that some people over commit
themselves and in the end can not cope up with the time schedule.
If one is not punctual he may examine himself carefully. He may need to
realize importance of other people’s time and how waiting for them upsets
the apple cart, creating chaos.
