Marriage.

Marriage.

The men that women marry and why they marry them
Shall always remain a marvel and mystery to the world.

Marriage combines temptation and opportunity.

Marry. This is the long and short of it.

Advice to persons about to marry. “Don’t.” please don’t.

Is not marriage an open question? When it is alleged from the beginning of the world
That such as are in the institution wish to get out, and such as are out want to get in.

Missus the tale I relate, this lesson seems to carry,
Choose not alone a proper mate but proper time to marry.

“ Yes.” She answered me last night,
“ No.” This morning she say Sir,
Colours seen by candle light
Will not look the same by day light.

Friendship often ends in marriage, but marriage in friendship, never.

Courtship is to marriage as a witty prologue to a dull play.

A single man must be in search of a good wife.

Marriage is no joke. This is adding insult to injury.

This is the nature of women,
Not to love when we love them,
And to love when we love them not.

Marriage is the lottery, child the prize.

It is easier to be a lover than a husband.
It is hard to be witty every day than to say pretty things time to time.

A Desi Indian in USA got US$ 500 divorce from his wife.
Highly blamed by his friends who demanded:-
Was she not chaste?
Was she not fair and beautiful?
Was she not healthy and charming?

The Desi, stood up holding out his shoe to them and demanded:
Is this pair of shoes not new?
Is this pair of shoes not sturdy,
Yet, any of you can tell, where it pinches?

Moon laughs at the lies wives tell their husbands
