GANDHIJI OBSERVED 24 HOUR SILENCE ON EVERY MONDAY.

Importance of Observing Silence. For Mahatma Gandhi, Monday was the day that he would lock his mouth and do not utter a single word' It was MONDAY SILENCE ZONE. He was Dumb. No Talking. He observed silence for his lifetimes for one day in a week. “Mahatma Gandhi during his lifetime, observed Monday as the day of his observing silence. He spoke nothing at all for one day and observed silence. He believed that keeping himself silent was a way to bring order to the Mind.” If circumstances required the Mahatma to convey something, he would write it on a paper. No talking for 24 hours is an impossible job unless one has an iron will and steel determination to observe silence. No talking is extra hard for regular people who are talkative. People are seen to talk about almost anything and everything, including anything about, baseball, basketball, cricket, music, movies, politics and anything under the sky. In reality, if one has to shut up for five minutes, it is very difficult, if not impossible. You will feel the top of your head about to explode. People keep talking for the sake of talking so that their presence may be felt. He feels by talking he is in charge of the situation. It is sort of like behaving like a police officer out in the middle of the traffic. After passing a full day of silence, your mind will enable you to speak the right words. Your small words uttered in a routine way will sound to others as orders. Every word you speak counts. Choose power words. Singing is not talking. We can sing together. We can not talk together. Silence is golden. Silence is eloquent. Too much of talking drives the other people crazy. Do we call ourselves civilized? We would project as a miserable aimless directionless mob. When we are together in a procession, we do not shout, wave, yell and hoot at friends who are passer-by. At a meeting we do not whisper and giggle and point out and wave and laugh at our silly jokes. And when we are together at the lunch table, it is not free-for-all festival to blab. Lunch is a time to sit and be quiet and eat.

SPORTS: PLAYING THE GAME OF POLO.

Playing Polo. You will be nearer to Heaven by playing a game of Polo than reading the pages of Gita. Practice makes the man Perfect. It is the ground and the ground rules of playing Polo plus taking care of the horses and ponies is a lengthy time consuming process, The polo-player has to live a much disciplined life. Polo is like a jealous mistress.  It does not allow the polo-player to enjoy a family-life. It keeps him away from evening parties and public-function.  It demands his presence on the practice-ground early in the morning till ten a.m. till sun-heat is light.  Similarly he has to practice in the evening from 4p.m. to eight or so and leaves him drained out of all energy.  Polo is one of the oldest sport.  It is said it originated in Iran. It spread in one form or in some modified form (according to local conditions and climate) to India China and Japan.  The English Officers while serving in India were attracted to play polo match with the princes and kings and other dignitaries.  The English took the game with them on return to England. Thereby it got spread all over Europe, USA and Argentina.  In Argentina, Polo is played riding on ponies. In Argentina their ponies have less height, are speedy and very flexible ideal for polo game to run swiftly and stop and turn abruptly; easy to chase the ball and make an easy goal.  Played with 4 players, on each side, riding on horses, with a race to score goal by hitting the ball in the goal-net, a hut designed specially at the end of the ground,   players on horses play a life to death game, to score a goal. It is played in a 300 by 100 yards playground where the rider uses a stick, a long cane angled with a bat to hit the ball to make a goal.  Polo is a game for the rich.  It needs a fleet of ponies/horses duly trained and well-fed to be able to take the field strain.  It is a dangerous and strenuous game.

MYSTERY OF VANISHING SHIPS IN BERMUDA TRIANGLE.

THE MYSTERY OF LOSS OF PLANES SHIPS OVER THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE. In the western part of the Atlantic ocean there is a spot covering north Bermuda to bottom of Florida, in the east towards the Bahamas, past Puerto Rico. It is a triangular place of unbelievable mysteries. This place is usually referred to as the Bermuda Triangle. Here in this place more than hundred planes, and ships have literarily vanished into thin air. There is no trace of them. Thousands of life has been lost in this place for reasons unknown. They are without trace. Since 1945 to this date, experts have spent their lives to solve the mystery but it is not full-proof. Some experts have tried to explain their disappearance as due to Mysterious weather conditions within the area of the Bermuda Triangle. But this fact is not borne out by any tangible evidence. “ No breeze drives the ship. The sea has no great depth; the surface of the earth is covered by a barely little water.. the monsters of the sea move continuously to and fro and monsters swim among the sluggish and slowly creeping ships.” The mystery of the sea has been told and retold time and again and has been a subject of court matters and investigation but still has not been solved. The disappearance of the crew has been explained as attack of pirates, mutiny in the ship and flight after killing the captain, or hijacking. There is no evidence. Some point to the blue hole, one of the underwater caves in Bahamas waters where strong currents sweep through these passageways and some small boats were found wedged inside them. But this isolated blue hole can not devour big airplanes and very big ships in hundreds. Incidents of disappearance of ships and airplanes in the Bermuda Triangle has led to identifying similar areas which includes the sea in Japan which is named as the Devil’s sea. Some attribute such a phenomena to existence of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) responsible for such occurrence. The Devil’s sea area has long been dreaded by boat and sea men who believe that the area is inhabited by devils demons and monsters. There is one more speculation that the gravity and laws of normal magnetic attraction no longer function in ways we are familiar and evidence points to the existence of anti-gravitational particles that may have arrived from space and got embedded into the crust of the earth under the sea and responsible for such catastrophe. Scientists have pointed out about 12 such spots under the sea. But the Bermuda Triangle and Japan’s Devil’s sea have come to lime light because of constant traffic in that area. On the Earth, 3/5 is water. There are seas and oceans. These seas and oceans have been identified after their currents they generate. There are seven main ocean currents. At some point of time two different currents can be visibly seen so that to different oceans can be separated from each other by the flow of the direction of its current. The ocean currents in the northern hemisphere turn clockwise. The ocean currents in the southern hemisphere turn anti clockwise. This happens due to rotation of the Earth around the Sun.

AVERAGE HUMAN HEIGHT.

MANY QUARRELS MANY INCIDENTS OF VIOLENCE HAVE OCCURRED WHEN THE TOPIC ABOUT THE HUMAN HEIGHT CAME INTO DISCUSSION. IT HAS BEEN A VERY TOUCHY TOPIC OF DISCUSSION WHEREIN WORDS EXPRESSED ABOUT HEIGHT IS TAKEN BY PARTICIPANTS AS IF THEY WERE ADDRESSED TO THEM PERSONALLY TO INSULT AND HUMILIATE THEM. HUMAN AVERAGE HEIGHT. Human Height. Normal Male Height 5’-10” Normal Female Height 5’-5” Abraham Lincoln was 6’-4” Tall. He is considered Tallest of all US Presidents. James Madison was only 5’-4” Tall, considered shortest of all US Presidents. Height is a very touchy issue. Many quarrels have ensued in normal height discussions. A thread of Tallness in height counts. Present President Obama is 6’-1” A small soldier shoots straight. The army wing prefers tall soldiers. The Navy prefers its crew of medium height. The Air force prefers air-men with small height. Therefore it is imperative that you select the right wing. Height of the child is a hot topic in the family since its birth. Children are conscious of height when in the school the teacher asks the class boys and girls to line-up as per the short and the tall. Height of the body is not something one can change. When children get together the important question is about the height. When shall I grow? How much shall I grow? How much tall will I be? All grow up. But they grow up on a fixed schedule. It is said that the genes inherited from the parents largely determines the height of the child. A short height child feels it a joke of the nature on him that he grew short. It is true that in our society a small man is at a disadvantageous position than the tall ones. Result of research studies indicates that in countries like the USA, life is equated with the physical size. We see corporate heads large and tall and imposing. Most successful people are six foot tall slim and straight. Lawyers, politicians actors prominent people are almost six footers. There are salesmen, policemen, football players, sportsmen who have tall size. The women prefer tall straight and slim with normal weight. Aggressiveness intelligence and all that comes afterwards. So it can be said that persons with a small height in many cases is an object of pity, amusement scorn and rejection. Height is the Nature’s gift. If you are not tall or medium height, the world is not lost. What counts is your own ability and self confidence. You can rule the world if you have the mettle. Napoleon, Hitler were small statured. Yet they ruled the world.

OF THE FIVE SENSE ORGANS- SMELL SENSE HAS A PRIORITY.

ALL THE PERFUMES OF ARABIA WILL NOT FRESHEN THIS LITTLE HAND. THE BARGE SHE SAT IN LIKE A BURNISHED THRONE,BURNED ON THE WATER THE POOP WAS BEATEN GOLD, PURPLE THE SAILS, AND SO PERFUMED THAT THE WINDS WERE LOVE-SICK WITH THEM, THE OARS WERE SILVER, WHICH TO THE TUNES OF THE FLUTES KEPT STROKE AND MADE THE WATER WITH EVERY BEAT TO FOLLOW FASTER, AN AMOROUS THEIR STROKES, FOR HER OWN PERSON,IT BEGGERED ALL DESCRIPTION. AGE CAN NOT WITHER HER NOR CUSTOM STALE, HER INFINITE VARIETY,OTHER WOMEN CLOY, THE APPETITE THEY FEED, BUT SHE MAKES HUNGRY,FOR VILEST THINGS BECOME THEMSELVES IN HER THAT THE HOLY PRIESTS BLESS HER WHEN SHE IS RUGGISH. CLEOPATRA HAD HER BARGE-SAILS SOAKED IN PERFUMES ON THE EVE OF ANTONY’S VISIT TO HER BARGE. OF THE FIVE SENSES HUMAN MIND REGISTERS
QUICK RESPONSE TO A SUDDEN SWIFF OF SMELL. SENSE AROUSAL ARE FACTORS FIVE- SIGHT SOUND TOUCH SMELL AND THE TASTE. Our Nose is the smell organ. The Nose reacts to Smell at lightening speed. A restive nose needs a sharp spur. Pure air is worth hundred medicine. High winds blow on high hills. Let not the tongue cut the throat and bleed the nose. Man-kind is divided into different blood group. Mankind is also divided into different smell group. Nose identifies a particular smell. The smell, odor the fragrance of the sweat of the human body distinguishes him from one another. In animals also this type of smell identity is found to exist. In North Pole the pole bear possess similar characteristics. A pole bear male cohabits with a female of his smell group. He wanders in search of his companion till it finds her. Take example of our aboriginal community. She would prefer an uneducated boy of her community to a foreigner. Smell and memory are interwoven. Sense of smell is imprinted in the back seat of the brain. The nose does it. It identifies that smell. Nose is the all-powerful smelling organ that nature has gifted us. We know of aroma therapy since the Roman times. It takes 800 pounds of rose petals to make one pound of rose oil concentrate. It takes two hundred thousand jasmine flowers to make one pound of jasmine oil concentrate. The flowers have to be picked early morning before sunshine. Smell has easy access to the mind. Smell and memory are inter-woven. Both have easy access to each other. Hairy armpits and perfumes emit sexual messages. During Elizabethan England armpit hair was appreciated as courtroom aid. The male sweat used to attract the fair sex to a great extent. They were smell crazy smell driven and smell oriented. Human sweat smell is his identity. You can trace your man on the basis of his sweat . You have to have practice and art. Food odor elicits greater sexual response, more than perfumes. Smell of powdered cinnamon, cardamom, cloves outscored smell of perfumes when experiments were conducted and males were asked to respond to smells and their blood flow was measured, they were enchanted on account of flavoring smell in the bakery room

A TRAGIC LOVE STORY THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

CHARACTERS. HAMIR KASIM ARE TWO BOSOM FRIENDS. HANNA -THE GIRL-FOR WHOSE LOVE BOTH DESTROY THEMSELVES. A True Incident. This is a true incident happened at Bhuj opposite side of Karachi Port of Sind District now in Pakistan. Kutch and Sind province had interaction for many centuries. Sumaras of Sind province crossed over and settled in Kutch. Their progeny is neither Hindu nor Muslim. It is call Miya-na. They observe Moharram and Eid as also they celebrate Diwali. This is a short story of their jealous love. They are three of them. There are two males and a girl, in this narration. That means a love triangle. Where there is a girl, there is trouble always. We know it. Trouble is certain to follow. Sooner or later there is always a trouble and tragedy. We have to be ready for it. It is a question of time. Here we are concerned with Hamir, Hanna and Kasim. Hamir and Kasim were friends. Hanna was the daughter of the royal family. Hamir was a higher Secondary student. He was the foot ball team Golley. Kasim and Hanna were in the same class but few years junior to Hamir. They all lived in the nearby area. Their happiness centered round playing with her. She was worth playing with. She was marvelous. She presented an alluring picture of young feminine beauty, a real heiress, a princess from the wonderland, to both. Hamir at least thought so. Kasim too felt so. Both felt so. She was like that. She was indeed beautiful. She was beautiful in a way of her own. All agreed. All the three were neighbors. All were long time playmates. All knew each other well. For years all continued to be playful, jolly, and carefree. There was no trouble. But today was a different day for Hamir. Things changed today. Friends turned into foes. He sat gazing upon her. Today he made a note of her form and features. Today she looked different. He had never done this before. Today was a different day for Kasim. Things changed today. Friends turned into foes today. Kasim too, sat gazing upon her. He made a note of her form and features. Today she looked different. He had never done this before. Beauty lies in the eyes of the viewer. Beauty is in the mind of the beholder. Beauty standard vary from place to place. What catches the eye is beauty. Today both of them made a note of her form and features. They had never done this before. Today she appealed to both of them in a different way. Hamir scratched his head running his fingers deep into his hair. He was perplexed. He again scratched his head and sighed. Today he felt his mouth went dry looking at her. He felt lump in his throat seeing her sitting besides Kasim. He could not speak to her. Today she charmed him in a different way. He felt uneasy looking at her. Kasim too scratched his head running his fingers deep into his hair. He again scratched his head and sighed. Today he felt his mouth went dry looking at her. Today he felt lump in his throat. She was dressed in her usual scout’s dress, a white blouse and black skirts. Other boys played closely, came near, listlessly pushed her, touched her and ran off. Other boys always moved closely, pushed her, threw her, slugged her. She played with them too. Hamir was not anyway concerned. He had been always disinterested. Today his brows were contracted. Today his muscles tensed. Today Hamir was annoyed. Today he was angry. He saw Kasim pause besides her. Kasim had bent close, hugged her, whispered something in her ear. She cried out loud, reciprocated with equal joy, hugging him intimately. Today Hamir felt jealous. Today he did not like Kasim see her, least touch and hug. He gave a serious thought to this subject. He recollected the past incidents. All the boys and girls played hide and seek. Hanna and Kasim invariably used to hide far off behind the bushes. They used to come quite late after it was announced for all to come out of their hiding. Sensing something cooking and something fishy going on, Hamir used his veto power. He stopped all playing hide and seeks. Today Hamir got up, left the place with pain in his groins. He went away far off and sat on the bench all alone. He could not bear it. Hanna saw him. She felt his awkwardness. She gave it a try to know why he was so funny these days. Since quite long they had roamed together. She visualized in retrospection. Side by side they had drenched their feet in water in the pond. Together they had played, baited, teased, quarreled and played again. This was their normal life-a routine. They had climbed the apple tree both together and threw apples for her to catch and collect in a basket, then all used to devour the apples like a group. Today Hamir felt his hair rise at the nape of his neck. Hanna saw it, and was shocked. Merely because Kasim sat close and hugged her. It is ridiculous. It was natural that she reciprocated and hugged him. Hanna: (to herself) “What is wrong?” She did not see anything wrong on her part. She felt Hamir was unduly disturbed at such a small incident. On the other hand, Hamir did not take this incident lightly. He felt rejected. Hamir reconstructed in his mind the scene of her hugging Kasim He could not endure this. He got burnt out of jealousy. His blood boiled to an unimaginable extent. He felt anger, dejection, and an odd feeling of possessing her. It was true Kasim who had hugged her was no longer a boy now. They had never quarreled over her. They had tolerated each other. But any how, today things seemed different and changed. He looked at her again. She was no longer the young playmate they used to always play together. All felt so. Today Hamir felt, it was time to establish his right over her. It might be late otherwise. A stitch in time saves nine. Other boys too had started looking at her these days. She appeared a maiden with distinct features. His throat felt dry. He felt a lump in his throat. He felt his mouth dry. An uneasy pain wiped away all his energy and strength. He felt as if he had lost something. He felt he missed something. He wanted to find it. Today he felt, himself, all of a sudden, excited, agitated and alarmed. He was not his own self. He wanted to put an end to all playful games. All this had happened because Kasim had sat close to her. All this happened because Kasim had hugged her. All this happened because Hanna had reciprocated and hugged Kasim. She was his prized property. He felt she belonged to him and none else. None believed it. She was a wondrous thing on earth. From a distance Hamir watched them sitting side by side quite close. He felt jealous and he was out of his mind. He felt he would go mad. He saw Kasim move, press his body closer to her. He saw Kasim caress her shoulder. He imagined so. She slipped towards him and snuggled him. He could not bear the sight. He felt an uneasy feeling, which prompted him to jump. Hamir jumped and ran to them. Today he felt his blood rise in his head about to burst. He jumped a few steps and was standing in front, confronting the two. His lips curled into an ugly sight exposing his fighting mood. . Kasim looked up batting his wide eyes. Hanna half raised herself and looked at him. She guessed that Hamir was quite upset and disturbed. She could not find any reason for his being upset and disturbed. Her feminine instinct made her reach up Kasim and scratch the back of his ear. In an instant Hamir saw she was no longer the little playing girl. He felt she was a full woman. According to him, she was a full-length woman. To possess her, he would fight to death. He would fight Kasim or any one who questioned his right over her. His muscles rigid, and his shoulder turned towards Kasim, he proceeded and faced them. His face was averted but his eyes were fixed on Kasim. As he came his threats, abuses, increased in depth and volume. Kasim rose up on his two feet bristling, he too growled back. Both glared at each other. Fire raged in their eyes. She too felt so. Hamir: “She is mine.” He gestured at her. She was sitting. Now she stood up. Hamir held her by the shoulders and turned her to them so that all could see her. Kasim also stood up and shouted loudly, louder than him. Kasim: “She is mine.” Kasim roared pointing his fingers at her. Hanna felt she moved a step towards him. She came forward. She clapped. She hopped. She jumped She shouted with joy. She mediated. All felt so. She asked both of them not to fight. She belonged to both. All clapped hearing so. She never meant that there should be a quarrel between the two on her account. Hamir did not accept this mediation award. He cast a vote of dissent. He cried out. Hamir: “She belongs to me only.” Hamir: “She does not belong to anyone; except me.” He added with a thunderous shout, with raised hands. Hamir: “If any one tried, if anybody touched her, I will twist his neck.” He was furious and he saw that all were dumbfounded. He roared with the air of being the master of Hanna. Kasim put his hand on her shoulder and cried out loudly. Kasim: “She belongs to me only.” Kasim was also a party to the contest. He was not in a mood to let her go. There was a tie. She can not belong to both. It was to be decided to whom she belonged. She debated deliberated and made them compromise. Today there was no compromise. There was no solution. Both craved for her. They argued for about an hour. She was at pains to find a solution to this. She was very still, almost paralyzed at the turn of events. No emotion registered on her face. After that first moment of shock, she felt only a deep sadness in her. She was concerned for both, genuinely. After long, long deliberation she declared. She: “Alright, both of you fight.” Hamir: “I guess it will be a duel.” She announced a duel out of disgust. There was no other way. Fight would decide the Might. She: “Fight.” “Who wins gets me.” She declared. She: “Tomorrow. This time. This place.” Both agreed. The group of boys and girls were disturbed and shocked. They stopped playing. All were eager and afraid of the result. Their growling had distracted other boys and girls playing nearby. They sensed a fight. It would be interesting. All gathered and it turned out a sizable group of spectators to know about the combat. It would break the monotony. He, she, Kasim and the crowd got dispersed. All went their respective houses expecting to return next day morning for the duel. Hamir went to his room. He had nothing to worry about. He was dead sure he could take Kasim in three rounds. But something from inside was bothering him. He was surprised to find that Kasim, though at a disadvantage in comparison to him would go to the length of challenging him for the combat. He knew not what to do. He sat near the window for a few hours, decided to leave the things as they were and retired for the night. She on her part, was quite shocked to find that both of them risked their life and reputation for her hand. She should not have created such an intimacy with them. Kasim when he reached home, he was quite nervous. He did not know how all this happened in a few moments. How on the spur of the moment he agreed to fight with him. He knew Hamir’s strength and reputation as a hockey and football player. Kasim gathered special padding to cover his body, for protection. He referred to some book of boxing and wrestling. He had witnessed many ring duels but he himself had never participated in any of them. He was very nervous. Next day, at the ground, there was a big crowd. They had gathered around waiting for the fight to start. Inwardly Hanna felt flattered at the attention that was being drawn on her. In history many battles were fought for their hand. She had seen some men battling for other women. In depths of her heart she had dreamt of a fight for her hand. She imagined the ground would be reddened with blood for her sake. She felt sure. She was now jumping on her feet. She was excited. She cheered up them both. She wished them both. She insulted both contestants with equal abuses. She aroused them both to their best. She hurled taunts for their cowardice. She made them fight unto end. All felt so. She called them vile names. The other boys and girls, who were watching, also cheered, and laughed and clapped. The atmosphere was charged with suspense. Kasim felt infuriated. He gathered all his strength to meet with the challenge. Hamir was also equally infuriated. He gathered all his strength to combat. Both were set to fight for her hand. At last the combat was announced. It started slowly both, it looked were sizing-up each other. He made a sudden lunge for Kasim. But Kasim leaped to one side eluding him. All clapped and roared. This time Kasim came like a lightening upon him. He, with quickness of a cat wheeled and leaped back. He was shocked to find the adversary so capable. Hamir came on him with all his might. He aimed a vicious blow at his neck. Kasim wheeled to dodge the blow. It struck him on his jaw going to the shoulder; blood came out from the mouth. Sight of blood brought a cry of delight from Hanna and other girls. The duel was something worth while. She glanced about to see if other boys had witnessed it. The duel on her account was the evidence of her popularity. She was more proud than Helen of Troy was at this moment. She moved closer to the duelists to watch the outcome. The duel lasted for a while; he was on a better footing. Hamir was scoring over him. Kasim was melting. Kasim was about to lose. All felt so. All of a sudden, Hamir took out a knife from his inner pocket. He stabbed Kasim before anybody had a chance to stop him. Kasim was rushed to the hospital. He was declared dead. Hamir was sentenced to life imprisonment 20 years. Scene after 15 years. Hanna’s parents had died. She lived in the palace but engaged her full life in service of the poor and the needy. She erected a musafir khana on her spare land where food and shelter was free. All have forgotten about the duel and about Hamir and all that scandal. Today, after about fifteen years, Hannah had a life’s biggest surprise. Hanna’s brother brought news that Hamir was freed from jail and he stayed at the Garibsha Pir durgah outside the city limits. He never entered the city. Hanna daily,on foot visited him with food for him continuously for 15 years. She would put the food at the door-step and wait till he had finished. Hamir had lost speech. He knew only two words, he uttered on seeing her. “Tobah” “Allah” Hanna has followed this feeding ritual non-stop and Hamir crying out “Tobah” “Allah” during all these years. Hanna never uttered a word to him and she hurried home after feeding him.

THE ROAD TO HAPPINESS.

Road to Happiness. Oh! What is more blessed than to put all our cares away! A life time of compulsive work no man can bear it. It would be hell of a life. Eight hours in sleep; in law’s grave study six, Four spend in prayer and the rest on Nature fix. Do not judge a man idle because he is involved in thought. There is visible work and invisible work he may be doing. As opposed to all this, if all the year were playing holidays, To sport would be as tedious as to work. I have come across many colleagues who cherish doing nothing. There are also some compulsive people to whom time is the essence. They must remain busy at any cost. For him unfulfilled time is boredom. The friend who keep him busy believes he feels guilty of wasted time. He also feels depressed because he feels himself worthwhile only when he works. Staying busy serves for him as an anesthetics that numbs his sense of pain. They also reinforce his craving for stimulation. It is good for this compulsive friend to do some reading or do nothing at times. It will take your feelings for a while to catch up with your mind to correct the notion to stay busy. He should practice some time to do nothing. Just sit in a chair for an hour near the window and enjoy the feeling of relaxation. The key to freedom is balance and control.

CLEAN UP THE ADMINISTRATION.

CLEAN UP THE ADMINISTRATION. Fix responsibility. This is a powerful phrase. Presently majority of underhand activities are taking place because of laxity of control. Administration got awake with a jolt during the days of Emergency. Emergency was good or bad is not the issue here. During emergency Post Telegraphs Telephones Ports Airlines everything was shaken up. They had all arisen to the need of the day. Same condition is needed for today. They have to rise to the occasion. With existing tools available at hand Administration can be set right within the framework of the Constitution. There should be a will. Some syndicates & some groups like loose administration. They do not prefer tight administration. Drastic measures are necessary to set right the administration. Syndicates exist in every sphere of administration trade and in every field of public utility. They are required to be identified and nabbed. Middlemen have captured the trade. Middlemen exist everywhere. They are the root cause of all hoarding black marketing and all that goes with it. They can paralyze the administration at their sweet will. They are able to disrupt the fixed channels of trade. They have their own lobby.        The Country Capital is the epicenter of all connections. There are specialists who are experts in Liaison job. They have pipeline in all fields. They have links access to any Office Department Section or even Ministry. Nothing is impossible for them. Misery breeds hatred. Widening gap between rich and poor is key motivating factor for this hue and cry. There is no shortage of anything in the country. There is unequal distribution of power resources wealth etc. The fewer ones drive sophisticated vehicles and pollute the city whereas the larger unlucky ones starve to death. 10% of the affluent population controls 90% of country’s resources. The inequality and imbalance is reflected in a war between HAVS and HAVNOTS. The time bomb is tick ticking. We have to take notice of it. Rich got richer, poor poorer. Failure to use resources non-availability of funds unfulfilled targets lapse of loan amounts as unspent and paying interest on it in terms of rupee vs. dollar are responsible factors for today’s miseries. Government spending has grown at faster rate than increase in output. The increase in wages followed by increase in prices again followed by increase in wages is a vicious cycle that has spiraled up inequality all around. The Currency Coin is no longer worth its value. The Silver Coin we know of was a coin worth one tola of silver. Running the administration is a cruel job. You have to axe it. Here is an example. The Head of the Electricity Board sacked all Chief Engineers, many Superintending Engineers, a few dozen ExEn and innumerable Deputy Engineers and Overseers to set right administration of the Board. The Plant & 66KV line were commissioned at the same time completing transmission line up to the last point creating a world record. On the same day the Main plant was inaugurated lights were On at all points up to the final point. It is openly talked in inner circles that a sum of three billion of one Custom Collector is moving in bullion market for bringing gold in the Country.

A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED.

A Friend in need is friend indeed. While pensive friends painful vigils keep; Without support themselves, they support friends indeed, Good friends and good friendship must ever join; To err is human, to forgive is divine. Ram’s marriage was nearing end. He had left his wife, two children. Sam heard what Ram had done. Although he lived six hundred miles away, he availed a week-end to drive down to see him. Sam knew what Ram needed was not judgment but an encouragement. Sam shared his concern, love and support. They moved together at all the local known places visiting them sightseeing and enjoying each other’s company, for full two days and parted. “All parting has to be sudden.” What Ram had lacked was support from a friend who would look eye to eye and offer a strong shoulder of support. That support may come in different ways. Some times it may come through love and caring; other times through confrontation and accountability. Ram’s life changed when both were willing to reach beyond themselves and their concerns and got involved in pursuit of nothing. Sam lend him his shoulder of support to make him realize that he was not alone in this world. Man-to Man encouragement has a different kind of power than man-to-woman. He could relate to the struggles of another friend. At a critical moment in his life Ram needed Sam more than his wife as a support. Without Sam’s saying anything what he should do and all that, Sam heard that Ram had been united with his family and they were OK. Blessed are those who have good friends.

ONLY 40% PAY TAXES.

Tax Evasion. Only 40 % tax is realized. Cabs are yellow and Crows are black everywhere. Our Country has remained a safe haven for Smugglers, drug-traffickers, tax-dodgers swindlers money launders and so on. If caught, all you have to do is to flutter few thousand-rupee bills and you are off the hook. Government loses millions and billions by way of tax evasion. Only forty percent of the tax is realized. In all items same practice is adopted. Political climate of the country is responsible to allow the trade to cut corners to such a great extent. In no other country of the world such a helpless and hopeless situation exists. Since Independence we have received Billions of Aid, Grant Subsidy and Loans and help from International Agencies. Taxes were reviewed every year. Taxes have to be reviewed once in Five years for sake of stability and uniformity. Our Country would have been number one rich country in the world. We joined the wrong block. We did not adopt policy of free market and competition. We burnt bridges with group of progressive nations. Rich in natural resources, blessed with strong family ties, and hard working people, we were destined to be a recognized nation in the world arena. These hopes have been tarnished by political corruption, civil unrest and faulty Government policies. Our Country is a sleeping Giant. Many countries of the world want to let sleeping giant sleep. But now this is not so. The sleeping giant has been aroused. Le Voix de la Populi. It is the Court of Last Resort. Voice of the People is FINAL. The Government will have to answer. We were in sound slumber for the last fifty years. The Government will have to publish a list of all aid help grant subsidy loans received and an account thereof as to how much of it was spent where and how much of it had lapsed unused. We have been repaying loans and interest on loans by which others had benefited. By now we would have been one of the wealthiest countries in the world. By now we would have been moving in our private helicopters. The choppers would have taken place of cars automobiles. Most of us would own his own chopper. Car automobiles enabled us to move anywhere at our sweet will. Choppers will now replace cars etc. Airplanes have replaced the railways. Air-journey has challenged existence of railways. Choppers need to be modernized in point of view of low price safety and quality.

JUDICIAL GOVERNENCE.

JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION. If the Delhi and Bihar state Elections are taken as an indication, the Central Government influence is showing a downward graph. The Government’s popularity is at its lowest ebb. Many unwanted issues like the judiciary and the Collegium system of appointment of Judges were front runners. Now the things have gone against the Government. The Judiciary has proved that it can overpower the politics in Government administration. By abolishing the Collegium system the Government wants its choice of Judges preferably from candidates believing in party ideology. The Apex Court has given them a slap on their face. The Law has honored us. The Politics within the Government has proved incompetent. They have ruined the country. They have shamed the country. They are good agitators as agitators go. And as agitators’ days have gone, they should go. Leave the country in the hands of the Judiciary and the President. Take for example the Jharkhand politics. Where no party got the majority, last year the Governor’s rule had to be imposed. The Apex Court could examine this issue. We had to approach the Supreme Court for its interpretation of the term Majority. There is no provision for power sharing and bargaining. Out of total strength of 81, the JMM with 20 seats maneuvered to gain power with total strength of 42 MLAs. All the 42 are either ministers or in charge of important Boards. This is corruption. Majority of the MLAs have criminal background. From 1947 to this date eleven Five Year Plans have spent billions of rupees. The country is still without infrastructure. The poor has gone poorer. The country can not provide basic amenities like drinking water, housing roads to its population. The country has become a no man’s land. It is the Judiciary and the President who have to shoulder the responsibility to save the country. The Judge should not be young. He should have the eye to see, smell evil, not from his soul but on account of long observation of evil in others before him. Knowledge is his guide. He need not be guided by personal experience. The judges should serve till the age of 72. Immediate action in this aspect is warranted in the interest of the country. The President is in charge of the army, election commission, Accountant General, Public Service Commission etc. She should tighten up the screws mercilessly. The computer, the internet, the cell-phone have changed our life. Things have now changed. World has changed. We have to change. With the advent of computers, methods of work has changed. Exploit the computers. They are good servants- bad masters. Though computers are installed in every office, there is no sign of reduction of staff in the offices. On the contrary it is seen that with the coming of computers parallel machinery is deployed with the result that there is duplication of information in almost all the fields. Administrative expenditure needs to be slashed to a half. The Government may form guidelines that certain computerized work need not be kept in files. There are so many Directorates and Departments of Principal Commissioners who simply transmit the lower level information to the Ministries. With the coming of the computers and easy access to the Ministry directly by the lower formations, such intermediary departments need to be winded up. Government has to encourage the VRS scheme and take other harsh measures to reduce the staff to a half of the present strength. There is no need of clerical staff. Only computer literate staff is required. The Government has to take effective steps and tighten up the things before it is late.

FAMOUS BOLLYWOOD ACTOR MADHURI DIXIT.

The Pride of the Peacock is the Glory of God, The Lust of the Goat is the Bounty of God, The wrath of the Lion is the Wisdom of God, The Beauty of the Woman is the Work of God. MADHURI PATI GRIHAM YAATI. If you saw her strolling around in Denver you might be excused as you are a nut, for not recognizing Madhuri Dixit, one of the planet’s a most famous movie star. For the last 25 years Madhuri 44, rocked India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Dubai Maskat, Saudi Arabia Iran, Iraq, Burma Philippines Singapore Hong Kong London New York as a Top No.1 Heroin of the Indian screen. Her face, her smile her graceful movement made her an immortal actress in hearts of millions-old young and children of both genders. She went unrecognized when sking at the Denver Colorado mountains in the cold atmosphere of minus ten. Madhuri says she is still surprised by twist of the fate that vaulted her to the top of Indian star firmament since l982 earning top billing in films on lines of super mega stars. She is Nutan Mala Madhubala Meena Kumari combined in one. Madhuri:- “No.” “I don’t want to be compared.” Madhuri:- “I like to be my own. I am Madhuri myself, and not a shadow of past celebrity.” She was searched from Kashmir in 1981. She was seen in a departmental store selecting books and other items in Srinagar. She was followed and traced to an IAS officer’s house visiting Mme. Jaya Jetley and camping with them. Subhas was on a look out for a rare face. He saw in her face such a rare smiling face. Madhuri:- “I never thought, I would be an actress.” Madhuri:- “I really feel that everything came like a dream.” She adds. Madhuri:- “Sometimes I am sitting down alone and I can’t believe it.” Madhuri:- “I believe that there is something like Luck in this world.” Madhuri:- “I can say. I was Lucky.” She finally sums up. Madhuri:- “I was blessed and have this destiny laid down on me.” She added. Madhuri:- It is amazing.” She further added while going. Madhuri’s serendipitous rise to glory started in 1981 when as a college-student she was persuaded to participate in the Srinagar festival celebrations. She was spotted by Ghai. After begging the crown of Srinagar cultural festival, she dashed into Bollywood filmdom. She was offered various roles in important films against top-stars. Kashmir was Madhuri’s first trip away. She had never left her place and she was under parental custody under strict disciplinary atmosphere. She was happy to be in Srinagar in awe of the place seeing the lake and the houseboats and all the greenery all around. Her film experience consisted of a one-minute screen test by Subhas Ghai, she found herself continuously engaged in films after films after Teejab and all that followed, a rare chance in a system that generally requires actors to apprentice in afternoon soaps. She was a domestic loving house caged girl, here suddenly doing movies. She adapted and adjusted her to the new environment by her natural and normal behavior. It was pretty awesome considering that she did not speak the Hindi language like her mother tongue. Her language skills improved thereafter to the extent that she can be at home in Hindi. After making very famous Hindi films, She who shuns limos, fancy clothes and make-up, she dreams driving her Merc 600 on the Rajiv Gandhi Bandra Worli sea link bridge. Her spot in the Indian Film totem pole is high enough to merit any wild rumors about her romantic life as well as getting tailed around where ever she happened to go by the news reporters.. She remembers how she had worn a burkka and had gone to see her film in Maratha Mandir. She says her name was linked with a cricket-player that was an acquaintance, The cricketer was the son-in-law of the Jetley family. She had attended their marriage reception and they were photographed together with the Prime Minister and the married couple. She is business wise. She did not make the mistake. Many thought that she would have to shoot mother-roles. She confirmed the conception by not being a mother of a child. She describes her roles as emotion roller coasters in which she portrays the sophisticated witty female of the present day generation. She had never a chance to portray controversial roles except her roles in DEVDAAS. and AAJA NACH LE Her journey in the filmdom has remained smooth and flowing. She has not begged awards in comparison to other film stars, yet, she is the most favorite of more than half of the population of the world who knows who she is and what she is. LONG LIVE MADHURI. You will be always missed.

THE BEAUTIFUL MIND.

A beautiful mind. (1). Clear thinking, unbiased, based on reason is necessary. No body does it. It can solve our day to day problems. Common sense can solve any complex problem. But nobody likes easy way. A calm and cool mind can solve any difficult situation. There is nothing precious than Time. Time passed is life passed. People feel they have time with them. No.They are with the Time. Time never likes to be with anyone. Wasted hours days destroy your life just as surely at the beginning, as at the end. At the end of the life, wasted hours become more obvious. You cannot do anything. No man lives so poor as he was born. It is true in some rare cases fortune appears to have favored the fools. A sleeping cat catches no mice. Where there is a will, there is a way. Ups and downs come alternately. A good marksman may miss. A good swimmer often drowns. A good cab-driver makes a folly. God helps those who help themselves. Amongst men and women, some are jewels; some are pebbles. Society represents good and bad elements. But in the end, the rogue is at last, at length out-rouged. That is justice. Truth prevails. That is the Law of Almighty. (2). Try to analyze what you have just Heard. Listening is an important aspect of life. People have the habit to forget what they have listened taking it lightly. Do not make this mistake. These are facts of life; never take them lightly. This is the sum, substance of life. (3) Go on refreshing your Memory whenever you are free. Do not allow your mind to rest. A good memory is an asset. You can memorize names, figures, and numbers, anything by constant practice. Some possess good memory for names. Some have good memory for numbers. Memory can be cultivated by efforts. You must know names of all your classmates. You meet him after thirty years you must call him by his first name. You have to train your mind to remember names, details, and description, significant features of an individual etc. A successful executive has to practice lessons in committing names of fellow beings by heart. Without effort he should call him by his name. Half the battle is won. He is on your side. You have to train your brain to commit to memory certain important factors. You have to continuously renew your lessons lest you might forget. Have no mercy on the brain. Keep it busy. Refresh it with new and new things. Learn and remember. Do not allow the mind to be idle. Idle mind is Devil’s workshop. Put it to work. Any work. Ask the mind to recollect names of all your friends’ classmates’ right from childhood. Ask the mind the details of the last visitor in your office. What was he wearing? Describe him. Had he any special characteristics? (4). A good part of life comes from Money. Money is a good servant; a bad master. All want it. It is good when money works for you. Money makes the mare go. All sorts of crime are committed for money. Money game has made many mad. Commercial adventure, dash and address are pre-requisites of a good businessman. Count like the Jews. Agree like brothers. Where two cats fight for the sweet, the monkey gulps it under the pretext of doing justice. It needs two for a quarrel. Friends are many when the purse is full. That which is written, is read. Opt for an unjust peace than a just war. Better bow than break. No flying without wings. (5). A good part of life comes from Power. Power is the crux; All run to the center of Power. It is the biggest intoxicant. Power is a pretty toy. Power combined with a network of relations built over generations can achieve any impossible heights. Power is everything. No drug, cocaine morphine, alcohol spirit, matches the effect of power intoxication. Absolute Power corrupts. Excessive Power breeds contempt. Power can’t be given up. (6). A good part of life comes from Willingness. You have to put life in what you have been doing. Mindless pursuit of an object yields no results. Our mind is a muscle like any other muscles in the body. It can be trained taught worked upon charged recharged overcharged pressurized taxed burdened used reused overused in order to bring it to a level of perfection. Rigorous exercise to the mind has caused wonderful results. Keep it engaged by constant supervision and monitoring what it is doing.

HOLLYWOOD

HOLLYWOOD. IN THE WANTED WORKS OF ART, MASTER STROKE IS NATURE'S PART. For development of Arts Nature offers exciting sites, suitability and opportunity. In the year 1905, a film company photographer visited a village Hollywood, five miles far from Los Angeles. He wanted to film a short film “The Daring Hold-up” The result of the pictures came out quite clearly and that big film companies were interested to film their pictures at Hollywood. It was found that the air was so clear and the sun was so shining that they decided to make their films at that place. They set up their studios in Hollywood. They found that there were other advantages there bedsides the clean air. The scenery was good. A few miles away was the giant Pacific ocean broken into waves on the sandy beaches. There were orange groves near at hand and not far off the desert country where they could take pictures of desert scenes. It was also possible to take shots of Arctic snow. Such snowy scenes could be taken from the Snowy Mountains, to the east of Hollywood. Likewise Bombay came out to be the seat of Bollywood Films on account of its premier location and a center of trade communication and aviation.

AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION CHANGED THE FACE OF INDIA.

INDIA’S GREEN REVOLUTION FROM 1950 ONWARDS BELIED ONE OF THE THREE FORECASTS ABOUT INDIA ON EVE OF ITS INDEPENDENCE MADE BY WINSTON CHURCHILL THAT HALF OF THE 360 MILLION POPULATION (AS WAS IN YEAR 1947) WOULD DIE OF HUNGER AND STARVATION WITHOUT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE, IN THE NEXT TWENTY YEARS BUT INDIA PROVED FOOD PRODUCE SUFFICIENCY AND THAT INDIA IS AN AGRICULTURAL COUNTRY, AND THERE WAS NO CASE OF DEATH BY HUNGER AND STARVATION. “When tillage begins, other arts follow.” ‘The farmers are the founders of human civilization.” “Gentlemen Farmers, a race destined to rule the nation.” Self sufficiency in Food Grains. India is a land of agriculture. India possessed largest agricultural land than any country in the world. Agriculture is the backbone of our economy. India gained its independence in the year 1947. Agriculture was in primitive stage. The land was in the hands of jagirdars and zamindars. Land reforms were put into practice to make land available to all. Agriculture was being done with help of bulls and limited means. There was complete rationing of food grains. After independence following historical changes took place. Agriculture universities were established to give education to farmers. Agronomy was given priority and agricultural aliveness was restored. Modern equipments, tractors, agricultural machinery helped to increase food output. Fertilizers plants were installed to raise land fertility. Water Irrigation system and electric power increased the food grains output. India adopted the norms of green revolution in the area of agriculture. Concentration of seasonal crop and regular crop increased more output. All waste land and surplus land was converted into agricultural land. It was since 1970 that India became self sufficient in agriculture. Today India is in a position to export high quality food grains. Still the country lacks in modern means of farming and use of pesticides. The country is lacking in infrastructure to store food grains. Infrastructure to remove grains from field to storage place is wanting. It is reported that every year, millions of tons of food grains is wasted due to rot, putrefaction, menace of rats, birds. Transportation system has to be improved. Distribution channel is weak and needs complete overhaul. There is a lot of waste in handling of food grains from and to destination. The Middleman takes away the profit and the benefits do not reach the poor. Modern Agriculture Reforms can double or triple the existing figures. Storage of Food Produce is a Priority. Increased population has taken the tall of the country. An awareness has to be created in the minds of people about importance of agriculture and establishment of marketing yards in the country.

MAKE USE OF OPPORTUNITIES IN LIFE. LOOK OUT FOR THEM.

Opportunities in Life. Have a life without Stress. What is the Measure that my life is without STRESS? Can you spend one full day on the river bank doing nothing just relaxing. Yet you do not feel any guilt about it. If you can do it means you are a free-man. In the life with no stress your focus will be enlarged. You will see things clearly. During his life-span man comes across opportunity. He is not alert or receptive to grab the opportunity. No man can climb the ladder to success without a basis. An opportunity in life gives you the basis for a successful life. Many men have been seen grumbling about having no opportunity. Many men wait for opportunity happen to them in their life. Everyman’s innermost desire is for something to happen. They turn a despairing gaze over the solitude of their life, seeking some white sail in the masts of horizon of life. But nothing happens. They have been saying that God had willed it so. To them their future is a dark corridor with its door closed. They turn into desperate, blaming everybody for their failure. What you have to fear is fear itself. You are afraid of the insecurity of life. You do not take an initiative or risk in life. Take a lesson from the life-style of others. Give yourself a position not less than that of Anil. Try to respect your self first and foremost. Behave like Anil. Anil is no God. He had a handle, Dhirubhai was his handle. Create a handle. Life is easy. Do not wander about here and there aimlessly. Take a tour of the country. See everything. You will find your way.

THE IMPACT OF TAXES WE PAY IS ENORMOUS.

THE BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS HAVE INCREASED THE SERVICE CHARGES BEYOND LIMIT. MOTTO IS TO MINT MONEY. HARASS THE CUSTOMERS. IT APPEARS THE MONOPOLY HAS WORKED TO THE DETRIMENT OF GENERAL PUBLIC AND NOT ASSIST THEM. Taxes.Let all Taxmen die. We will have peace for ten years. There are two kind of taxes. Taxes on men; Taxes on things. 1.Let us take taxes on men. You are taxed when you earn. You are taxed when you spend. You are taxed when you save. You are taxed when you die. You are a lawyer, you pay income tax on your annual income. You are a lawyer, you pay professional tax on your annual income. Your company pays service tax on company’s annual income. 2. Let us take taxes on things. You buy a bungalow you pay the regular tax on its value. You buy a bungalow you pay property tax to the borough. You consume electricity for the bungalow on that amount you pay tax. You pay lawn mower to trim your lawn on that amount you pay tax. You pay garbage man on that amount you pay tax. In a multiple way you pay tax in respect of your bungalow. Similarly you buy a car, you pay the regular tax on its value. You pay for insurance charges on that amount you pay tax. You pay for car-registration charges as tax every year. You pay on your birth-day driving license renewal as tax. You buy gas for your car on that amount you pay tax. You pay tax on each and every item you buy. Now you count how much amount of tax you pay. Let us take taxes on services. Count the services you have to use. For every service in addition to the service charge you pay tax. Taxes by way of Fines and Penalty. Taxes by your Borough Municipality. Taxes by your State Government Taxes levied by the Federal Government. Count the amount of Toll Tax you pay when you travel in your car. Please know that you pay one third of your earning income in Taxes

THE FINANCE. THE VALUE OF MONEY.

Value of Money. “Money is a matter of functions four, a medium, a measure, a standard, a store.” Theory of Value, Theory of Money, we learnt in college. In practical life we have to learn Value of Money. All along we have been working for Money. A time comes in life when one has the Money work for him. In the initial stage of life, one has only Earned Income. In the next twenties he has his focus on Passive Income. In the next twenties he has his focus on Portfolio Income. Passive income, is profit derived from real estate investments. Portfolio income is profit derived from stocks, bonds, mutual funds. The secret to be wealthy is to convert Earned income into Passive or Portfolio income. One has the Time. One has the Mind. One has to use his Time and Mind to : Spend his Income. Spend it foolishly and stay Poor. Spend it on liabilities and stay Middle Class. Spend it on investments and learn how to acquire assets And you choose Wealth as your goal and your future. And stay Rich. The choice is yours. This principle applies to those who take risks. Either you get Rich or Ruin. It’s your Luck. You have to act prudent. Money and Wealth. Money is a form of power. Financial education is more powerful than power of money. Money may come. Money may go. If you have the education about how money works you gain power over it. You begin to build wealth. You have to learn how money works. You spend your life working for money. You should continue study of money. Your fear and your greed keeps you to think in terms of earning more money. You play within the same vicious circle. You do not get out of it. It is the ignorance about money that causes so much greed and fear. A doctor wants more money to better provide for his family, raises his fees. By his act of raising his fees, health care is a costly item. Because the doctor raises his fee, the lawyer raises his rates. Because the lawyer raises his rates, the school teachers want a raise. This vicious cycle raises our taxes. There will be a horrifying gap between rich and the poor. This vicious cycle will go on for ever. There is no end. Can anybody remember and tell? When times were not hard, and money not scarce? Heaven help those who help themselves. Little I ask as my wants are few. All say so and it is not new. All I wish to have is a hut of stone, which I can be able to call my own.

THE SIXTH SENSE- THE INTUITION.

Intuition. and the Sixth Sense. “It is the sunset of life, gives me mystical lore, Coming events cast their shadows before.” The custom of saying Grace at the meals had its origin when a full meal was hardly possible, due to sudden attacks and fights at the hands of enemy. Utter vigilance was the price of their life. Their only means of knowledge was their intuition. It was a way of knowing things directly without inference or use of reason. There were no fast means of telegraphs, phones and all that. They were trained to know by signs, chirping and crowing of birds. Their ears were trained to feel rebounds of hoofs of marching horses. There was a manned tree-post at a height to warn of incoming danger. Their dogs were trained to signal or bark at the oncoming danger. Your mind receives a flash-message, a signal of an event. It forewarns you to be prepared for such an eventuality. That is intuition. On the other hand, sixth sense is a psychic power by concentration. It is deep human ability to warn him about happening of an event. He should be ready for it. You find yourself aware of certain information which you never thought possible. The deeper you go, you can develop mesmerism and all other arts of foreseeing things. All religious heads are seen endowed with psychic power. Abuse of psychic powers leads to madness and many side effects.

CLASSICAL DANCE- THE FABULOUS FEET.

Fabulous Feet. For centuries our dancing schools have provided a home for some of the finest dancers in Bharat Natyam Kathak, Odissi Manipuri, Kuchipudi schools of performing arts. Originally, purpose of the dance was to entertain the royal court. Thereafter dancing schools were formed and concerts were held where any public could visit by having a ticket. There is delight in seeing a dancer with fabulous feet. Bharat Natyam, Odissi, Kathak Kuchipudi Manipuri dancers, Ballerina Geisha have to possess fabulous feet for performing arts. To be a dance critic one has to develop a sense of skill for judging the dancer’s performance. You must have knowledge of the mudra- the movement of fingers with her thumb and understand the dance language of signs and gestures. The Dancer tells her story in the dance. The more you watch, the more you learn. Song, instruments and dance constitute the theme. The viewer watches her technique of dancing, skill and rhythm of her feet.. After we see several performances by different artists, we develop an yard stick to assess the performance of a dancer. You have to see her performance and not her. Her beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Indrani Rehman, Birjoo Mahraj, Mallika Sarabhai, Hema Malini Sonal Mansingh, Uday shankar, are famous dancers of our country.

WHETHER GOD EXISTS? OR IT IS MAKE BELIEF?

DOES GOD EXIST? A devotee once confronted Swamy Vivekanand. Devotee: Have you Seen God? Vivekanand. : No. Devotee: Do you believe God Exists? Vivekanand Yes. I asked the same question to Shri Ram Krisna ParamHams who is my Guru. Whether God Exist? Whether He had seen God? My Guru said God Exists. He has seen God. I believe in my Guru. God Exists. Do not investigate the God. Do not try to go deeper. God is not to be construed as a Being. God is Being itself. God is a being who could not be seen. God is not material or empirical. God is an intractable Mystery. GOD IS GOD. WE ARE POWERLESS TO KNOW HIM. WE CANNOT MEASURE GOD WITH OUR YARD STICK. IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO PRY TO PROBE INTO THE SECRETS OF UNIVERSE. OUR JOB IS TO OBEY. NO QUESTION. It was God who formed all the lands of the world at the creation-time. This God was without exception the Indian God. Our country is thus a home-land of God and that is why it is called the land of God. Himalaya is the dwelling place of Lord Shiva. We can not see Him. We pray him. We feel calm and light. We feel his presence within us. God created five basic elements upon which our life depends. The Sun provides us the energy and light. Without it we would have not existed. Earth carries our burden on its shoulders. Air without which our life would not have existed. Without Water, we would not have survived. The land we have agriculture without which we would not have survived. The earth and its seven billion population is governed with mathematical precision and accuracy. Seasons happen at the appointed time. The Sun sets and rises regularly. There is no mishap or break up of machinery. This is His efficiency. It is difficult to manage a small family of six or seven. Unforeseen incidents always happen in our small family. How He manages this planet of seven billion is beyond our imagination. It proves God exists.

TELLING A LIE OR BLUFFING HAS BEEN A WAY OF LIFE.

Telling lies or bluffing has been a way of life. Take an example about believing in planet signs. Zodiac Signs and their effect on us. Openness and frankness are virtue. There is nothing wrong in reading horoscope columns. The biggest politicians, Businessmen read these columns. But they claim as if they do not know about it. Hereinbelow is an illustration as it actually happened. A liar must have a good memory. There is no sense in lying about trivial matters. But Human Ego and shallow mind are responsible for it. Do you read your Horoscope ? It is a chart showing position of planets which predicts character and abilities of individuals as well as coming events. Practically all do. Though none will admit. Horoscope has been an inspiration and push for human beings. All want luck but the bigger they are, they want bigger luck. All Bigs are addicts of horoscope. They are not bold to admit. Ram: “Are you coming?” Sam: (shaking his head) “Not yet, but you go. I’ll follow later.” By the door Ram paused. He saw magazines on the stool near the door. He picked up an issue of the horoscope. Around it were the zodiac signs of astrology. Sam: “You don’t read this stuff; do you?” Ram: (alarmed seeing him with the magazine.) “ I glance sometimes.” “A client of mine used to send me. It’s a free copy.” Sam: “But this is subscription copy.” He pointed the label. “Its subscription has been renewed.” “You can see details on the label” Ram: (exasperated) “How do I know? Do you know how much mail comes addressed to me daily?” ”I do not check all. ” “I don’t see them all. ” Sam: “There is no need to be testy.” “Even if you read why make a fuss?” ‘There is nothing wrong in it?” “ I myself like to read it.” All read. Some hide. Some are frank to admit. Some do not. This is human nature. One has to be a good liar. It is an art. If you lie, do it with care that you are not exposed

ERSTWHILE MAHARAJAS AND THEIR LAVISH WAYS OF LIFESTYLE.

LUXURY OF ERSTWHILE MAHARAJAS OF INDIA. PALACES AND THEIR HAREMS PALACES AND THEIR HORSE STABLES PALACES AND THEIR JEWELS AND ART GALLERIES PALACES AND THEIR FLEET OF CARS AND VEHICLES PALACES AND THEIR ARMORY. Palaces and Maharajas Palaces, Tigers, Elephants, Jewels were their items of status-symbol. Their palaces, tigers, elephants and sports cars went into oblivion when the Country got Independence. Their fancy for hunting, sports, races, their wealth was legendary. What has remained behind are their palaces. These palaces are signs of their wealth, glory and life. There were 563 Indian Rulers out of which 252 were in Gujarat which included 222 rulers of Saurashtra, and Kutch. Most of their palaces have turned into Heritage hotels or TV studios or business offices. Vadodara Laxmivilas palace is situated in 720 acres which includes a golf course, museum, in possession of the royal family. IT IS TIME TO HAVE A NEW CONSTITUTION FOR THE COUNTRY.

United we stand. Divided we fall. Rudyard Kipling was an Idealist. His views were Dreams How World should be. He drafted a Model of an Ideal Democratic Country in the form of a book “AN IDEAL CONSTITUTION.” Politics and Idealism do not go together. Many ideal thoughts have to be shelved in the interest of the country. OUR NEHRU FELL FOR THIS IDEAL MODEL OF THE CONSTITUTION. THE COUNTRY HAS PAID HEAVILY FOR HIS DREAM. LET US NOW COME TO REALITY AND SHED THIS DREAM. The country has been attacked by internal feud, racketeers, black marketers etc. Interest of the State comes first. Everything comes last. Too much of personal Freedom to its citizens is seen misused by untoward elements. The law is a game which can be redefined for different people as per their wish. There is excessive liberty to the culprits in the name of principles of Natural Justice. Despite all this, with the existing tools and appliances, within the framework Of the Constitution, administration can be set right. There must be a will. Unfortunately there is no will. All are interested to pass on the buck. Now a stage has come that somebody will have to bell the cat. Political maturity, statesmanship, toughness, assertive attitude and clear thinking on all issues are utmost priorities of the day. Loose Administration- If there is a will, there is a way. Pandit Nehru was an idealist. He dreamt of an utopian ideal state. The Constitution Drafting Committee was headed by Dr.Ambedkar. The Constitution has awarded all powers with the politicals. Parliament is Supreme. All Laws were framed with an escape window. Judiciary is the interpreter of the laws passed by the Parliament. The leaders did not foresee the misuse of liberal provisions of Law. Now the laws can be turned tamed and twisted to serve their ends. The Judiciary is a helpless spectator of the loose administration. Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi had opportunity to overhaul the Constitution in light of the experience gained against loose administration. Nothing was done. They were victims of infighting party-workers. They have let the country turn into a lawless jungle. History will never pardon them. What Churchill said, it seems his prophesy comes true. The fate of the people of India can not be left in the hands of such people.

LONGEVITY----IT IS IN YOUR HANDS.

LONGEVITY- the life span. Nature has prescribed 100 years life-span for human-beings. Variety of factors, genetics, gender, personal life style reduce life. Life-span at Equator zone is 50 to 70 years. Life span in moderate zone is 70 to 80 years. Life span in cold climate zone is 90 years. Similarly food habits also are responsible for reduced life span. Once upon a time, Norway, Sweden, Finland, had highest living standard. Their chief food was cod fish, cod-liver oil with wine. Their life span was 80 years. Reports indicate that south-European countries, Spain, France, Italy Greece consume Olive, Olive oil, and sea-food, with red wine. Life-span of the inhabitants on French Riviera is seen as 90 years. Therefore it can be surmised that olive and olive oil and sea-food And red wine help to enhance life. Above report is based on statistics. Nature has given one foot long candle of life of hundred years to all. Some burn candle in 50 years, some use it sparingly and live 100 years. Much depends on individual diet. Life needs light exercise. Life is to be lived moderately and happily. Anger, short-temper, loneliness and avarice are responsible for short life. Fresh air, sea-life brings health that mocks doctor’s rules. Tension, ill-health disease have to be controlled by medication. In USA, Africa, South America more people die out of obesity and excess food than people dying out of hunger in Africa and other countries. Food intake has to be moderate. “To rise at Six; To dine at Ten, To sup at Six; To sleep at Ten, Makes a man live for ten times Ten.”

HEALTH THAT MOCKS DOCTOR'S RULES.

KEEP HEALTHY. HEALTH MOCKS DOCTOR’S RULES. LIVER.-a vital organ of our body. Liver is the refinery in the human body. It removes toxins from the blood, and converts the toxins into substances to be eliminated from the body. Liver produces bile which contains detergent like substance essential for digestion. The bile absorbs the dietary fat. Other Vitamins are also absorbed by the bile. The Doctor prescribes drugs to treat human disease. Such a drug is chemically modified by the liver to treat the disease. Liver converts the food we eat into chemicals essential for life. Liver converts carbohydrate sugar which is finally converted into glycogen. It releases Sugar in between our meals, and mix in the blood eventually keeping us energized. It maintains body’s protein and nitrogen metabolism. The proteins are converted into amino acids. Excess amino acid is converted to urea for excretion in the urine. Certain proteins are converted into ammonia by the bacteria in the intestine. This ammonia must be detoxified by the liver and converted into urea which is then excreted by the kidneys. Excess of protein also creates excess ammonia in the blood. Therefore proteins must be proportionate and should not elevate blood ammonia. The gall bladder stores the bile produced by the liver. During digestion, the gall bladder releases bile into small intestines through the duct. Gall bladder disorder can be prevented by avoiding high fat and cholesterol prone foods. By maintaining a well-balanced diet and avoiding high cholesterol food formation of gallstone can be prevented. If you keep the lever healthy by moderate and balanced food intake your chance of living life for a hundred years is guaranteed.

YOU ARE JUDGED BY YOUR DRESS.

DASH DRESS AND ADDRESS HAVE TO BE BIG. Dress Projects the Man Taller Than He Is. Dress infuses him with confidence and vigor. Dress speaks of his stature and place of Origin. Dress Speaks for the Wearer. Dress creates an air of Aura around him. From Tokyo to Shanghai to Hong Kong to Bombay to Paris to London to NY to SF, fashion lovers are seen wearing same design suit through out the world. Fashion changes frequently. Old fashion reappears over and again. Barack Obama and Ho Jintao wear top best suits. A sneak peak into Chinese Luxury men’s clothier that sells suits to world dignitaries reveals that fashion may change but their wardrobe’s power signals rank. In Equator zone, the salaried man sheds his jacket and the tie. It is hard to sell suits in a country where it is believed that one who is wearing a suit is a businessman, and one without is a nobody. Dress-code changes from climate to climate. In cold weather countries pinstripe suits are a fashion. Much of the corporate world has left gold cuff-links home. Starched shirt is the dress-code item with shining dark suit. In the White House formality starts at the top. If the President does not wear a suit, his image is lost as incongruous with the lavish décor of the oval office. Shining black shoes is a must. Any man may be in good spirit when he is well-dressed. Jimmy Carter’s cardigans did not inspire the desired image in the eyes of the public. Though a worthy man he ended up in one term. Rank is a beautifier, but with best clothes, he commands owe and respect.

STOP WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT EXPENDITURE.

Stop this wasteful expenditure. The Public has the right to ask the government to stop wasteful expenditure. The money they are spending is tax-payer’s money. It can not be wasted at their sweet will on anything and everything. For example: Spending after the accused a sum of rupees in lakhs a day is not justified. They should be treated on par with other criminals. 2.Reports indicate that 26/11 bodies of the dead militants and others were kept in the morgue for evidence. Evidence Act prescribes perishable evidence and its method of dealing with it. There is no need to stretch the things so far where provision exists. The security afforded to political leaders and other dignitaries needs to be stopped. The VIPs are in a position to arrange for their security. Government need not spend tax- payer’s money after them. Half of the police personnel are engaged in security of Ex- out of post so called VIPs. Air-travel and foreign tours of all political leaders delegations have to stop. They may go at their own cost and not at tax-payer’s cost. The Governors, ministers have been spending huge sum after renovation, furnishing their official residence. It has to be maintained as per austerity standard. If any one wants extra-facility, it has to be at his own cost. Comptroller & AG should monitor all Government expenses above rupees one lakh. He should recover wasteful expenditure. There should be no interference in his duties.

PLACE OF MUSIC IN LIFE.

Place of Music in Life. “The Golden Rules is that there is no Golden Rule for Music.” “Lyric which is pleasing and popular is Music.” “Music rules the Court, the Camp, the Grove, Music enchants men below and saints above.” “For Music is Heaven; and Heaven is Music.” “Musicians do not last; their Music does.” Music is the backbone of Indian Culture. THE NEWSPAPERS ARE THE FOURTH ESTATE.

“YONDER SITS THE FOURTH ESTATE.” Newspapers, media and information agencies are named the Fourth Estate. Newspapers play a crucial role in Peoples’ lives. Newspapers are an addiction, we subscribe in fives. If a dog bites a man, it is not News. If a man bites a dog, it is News. All is News that is fit under the Sun. News like squirrels Run. Suspense in News is Torture. The Press lives by Adventure. “I have wandered East. I have wandered all the-way, Through many a weary way. But can never never forget anyway, My love for newspaper which I cannot put away.” Newspapers always excite our curiosity. No one ever lays down one without a feeling of necessity.

CAN MIRACLES HAPPEN AS CLAIMED?

Can Miracles Happen? Are miracles possible? How miracles happen? The topic of Miracles inspire to ask questions, which has no definite answers. Some are positive about Miracles. Some have doubts about Miracles. Everyone has his own view about Miracles. No Comments about Miracles of Satya Sai Baba. He visited CM Chavan’s Varsha to bless him. Clear cut Miracles never happened. The world is full of people to believe in them. Miracles is not a day-to-day occurrence. If one lives a normal straight forward life, his deeds help him in times of catastrophe. Intense meditation concentration helps to fulfill desired things. Meditation, concentration, prayer help to achieve desired goal, by forth-right honesty and sincerity in prayer. Do not allow the mind to roam around with other ideas. Stop all other ideas. Concentrate on your aim. You will get what you want. You will find a clear cut answer to your problem. You have then to act upon your problem accordingly. You would surely succeed. You have to follow Rules Regulations postures, concentration and meditation through penance.

GOOD GOVERNANCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.

Good Governance. Judges can be better administrators. Services of Retired Judges can be utilized for important policy making posts. The problem is party discipline. In the name of discipline, healthy suggestions are not heard. Shashi Tharoor can not fit in the frame of party discipline. Blind Party discipline has ruined the country. No genius would like to be a Yes Man. The country is full of lot of Yes Men crowding all around. Let Administrators run the Administration. Political leaders have crowded the administration. They are good as agitators and slogan shouters. In every Ministry, there is a Minister sitting at Top. There should be no Ministry. It should be Secretariat. There should be no Mantralaya. It should be Secretariat. “For forms of Government, let fools contest; Whoever administers best, is best form of Government.” In Nehru’s time Judges were appointed as Governors and Ambassadors. Justice MC Chagla for instance and many others. There is only a single isolated incident, Justice Fatima failed as Governor. She invited Jay Lalita to form ministry in Tamil Nadu against Rule of Law.. Judges can be better administrators. Services of Retired Judges can be utilized for important policy making posts. The problem is party discipline. In the name of discipline, healthy suggestions are not heard. Shashi Tharoor can not fit in the frame of party discipline. But he can be a good Administrator with his knowledge of UNO. Vain Glory Blossoms But does not Yield Fruits. Deny. Deny. Deny. Denial is the culture of the Corrupts. Crime is the bye-product of Prosperity. Kalmadi Chavan Madhu Koda, exist in every state of India. Politics has turned out a business to amass wealth. The country has turned out into a bunch of Amichand. Police, Politics and Mafia join their hands. Interference in every field by political parties has taken the Country to new heights of corruption. Opposition want to be the PM and want to grab power Opposition have not the interest of the country at Heart. They suffer from jealousy envy of the ruling party. They all want power at any cost. For power they are ready to cut throats of millions. They exploit the masses to revolt at the first available opportunity. For power they can join hands with Enemy. For power they can go at any length. The Country had enough of politics. Now let us have some good administration. Unless some drastic action is taken to curb powers, influence of political parties and its office bearers, Country will not recover. Let the bunch of good administrators administer the country.
