Knowledge Information and Wisdom.
Most of us possess information, which we confuse with Knowledge
or Wisdom.
l. The kettle is
boiling hot in the kitchen….information.
2. My fingers would get burnt by touching the boiling hot
kettle…….knowledge.
3. I would not touch the boiling hot kettle……wisdom.
Knowledge by Observation. I
discard the first source. I do not trust my own impressions. But I have to believe what I saw just Like as
I had felt. Knowledge is power.
The highest point a man can attain is not knowledge or
virtue but something even greater than that “the Sacred Awe”, about Him, a Halo around
Him, and he is worshiped like a God.
To find knowledge you may begin with certainties, then you
may end up with doubts. Therefore begin with doubts about
knowledge to end up with certainties about knowledge. Knowledge is conformity of object and the
intellect.
Knowledge about Nature.
Infinite Knowledge,
inherent knowledge, knowledge by Observation, Knowledge about God- all this
knowledge well-digested, ready at command will assist the feeble and the
friendless to discountenance the haughty
and the lawless, to procure redress of wrongs, the advancement of right.
“Know then thyself, presume not God to scan, The proper study of man-kind is man.
Placed
on this Isthmus of a middle state, A being darkly wise and rudely great, With too much knowledge for the skeptic side, With too much weakness for the Stoic’s pride."
Knowledge of human nature is the beginning and the end of
the political education.
Knowledge about God, His Glory shows His creation of this world,
its day and night speaks of His Knowledge.
We must have knowledge about God and not heap of offerings.
For search of knowledge one roams out finds his experience,
compares, co-relates and confirm with his experience. Then it becomes knowledge.
A Court Trial Judge
comes across evil, wrong-doers, fraudsters, cheaters, murderers parading in
front of him at the trial time. Thus he knows of evil tactics of wrong-doers,
fraudsters, cheaters and murderers, and not from his soul. He has seen evil
being displayed before him existing in others.
This knowledge becomes his guide and not personal experience.
People with too much of knowledge are difficult to be
governed.
The world is a chess-board.
The pieces are the phenomina of the Universe the rules of the game are
the laws of the Nature. The Player on
the other side remains hidden. But he finds out our every move, every mistake
and ignorance. The great end is not mere
knowledge but with it action also.
